Introduction
Maggie is a quality home designer and maker of lovely products who is gradually starting up her own business.
Purpose and Goals
Maggie wanted a simple, clear and elegant website to match the products she makes. One major aspect would be the gallery so Gatsby was a clear choice to build this project with - due to its ease of working and it's image handling capabilities.
Spotlight
I designed a custom Sanity headless CSS to allow Maggie to easy add new photos as well as update her own contact message. This was important to her as she produces all her own stuff so it useful to be able to update her contact page relevant to, for example, how busy she is and how much stock she does or doesn’t have.
Lessons Learned
I learned a lot about working with a client, asking the right questions, setting expectations and understanding what is and what isn’t in the scope of the project.
